In 2011, after growing beyond the capacity of a one man operation, Dennis asked his son DeLane to partner with him and open the second branch of Open Range Pest Control. At that time DeLane left his company after 11 years to join his father in his growing business.

DeLane Patterson

DeLane is a former Marine who in 2001 began working in the Pest Control Industry as a new career with a nationally renowned company. Since that time he has made it his mission to learn everything he can about the pests that trouble both residential and commercial customers. He has extensive experience in pest and rodent management, termite and other wood destroying organism control, fumigation, and insulation services.

His knowledge of the industry has allowed him to hold licenses in 4 states including 8 licenses in Arizona alone. He has also earned the title of the National Pest Management Association Quality Pro, the mark of excellence in pest management. DeLane is passionate about his chosen career and prides himself on the knowledge he has attained in over a decade of experience. If you have a question about a pest, DeLane will most likely astound you with information regarding it. DeLane is married and has two boys and operates the East Branch of Open Range Pest Control in Northwestern Peoria and covers the entire Northwest Valley.

Dennis Patterson

Dennis, who after 27 years in law enforcement retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a Sergeant. After retirement he and his wife of over 40 years moved to the small town of Salome in western Arizona. After enjoying retirement for a short time Dennis founded Open Range Pest Control in 2002 with no idea how quickly his small business would take off.

In just 10 years Dennis has expanded his business from Salome to Wickenburg and Quartzite to Lake Havasu and everything in between. His friendly, “never met a stranger” attitude and devotion to solving his customers problems has helped him to grow largely by referrals from his customers. Dennis holds licenses in Arizona for both pest and termite control. He operates the West Branch of Open Range Pest Control from the still small town of Salome.

Shandy is brother in law to DeLane and son in law to Dennis. Father to twins Shyla & Skylar, Shandy has been working with Dennis for over a year now and is excited to be out on his own helping Open Range continue its growth. Shandy owns a home in Buckeye and will predominantly service our customers to the south of I-10 as well as our customers in Western Arizona.

Dawn has been married to Dennis since 1970 and assists in the field with Dennis doing both pest & termite control as well as managing the western Arizona office since the company began in 2001.

Sarah is married to DeLane and met him in 2004 while they were both working in the pest control industry. She has an extensive background in pest control office management and is currently the office manager for the Sun City branch. Due to rapid growth, Sarah recently became a licensed termite inspector and will perform many of the the inspections for real estate transactions in the future.
